Onehunga Auckland
... don't have a car it is a bit far from anywhere. We decided to have a walk around Onehunga instead of going back into the city, and the motel managers will give us a lift to the airport later to catch the 'plane home.

Our Itinerary
... canals of Xochimilco for a trip along the waterway on brightly coloured boats. There'll be plenty of mariachi music playing along the way, and then a chance to wander around the adjacent markets.

We head slightly north of the city to the famous pyramids of Teotihuacan this morning. In the afternoon we are back in the city centre for a visit to the lucha libre museum at the national stadium.

... Frank’s bonnet. We hurriedly pulled over and popped the bonnet up for a look. Immediately it was apparent that the radiator hose had exploded, and we were in real trouble. We phoned Simon, who came out to the rescue with a tow rope, lifesaver! We had a roadside picnic while we waited for him to arrive. We then made it as far as a nearby town and dropped the car in, where we were told it needed a full radiator clean, and a new hose and pressure release cap. Delightful ...
A journey of two halves - part two
... couldn't go. The three of us had a good walk (tramp in NZese) and Clare met us at the end with a very welcome picnic. Later, we went to Dick Smith again (a different branch) and bought a satnav.
