Even though it was raining when we awoke, we decided to go and see the sled dog demonstration the Park puts on. When we arrived, we walked around and saw all the dogs in their cages. They were mostly friendly and we were able to pet them. The ranger then explained how the dogs were used in the camp and then harnessed a few and had them take her around a track. Overall, it was an informative and interesting show.

... and we were ok, but that first hour ride seemed unrelentless and death-defying. We were all very glad when we finally landed in Fairbanks.

Janiene, Dante and I went to drop our gear off at Sophie's Station; it was too early to check it in at the airport. Dante and I headed to Walmart to pick up supplies. Barrow is so damn expensive; I bought tons of supplies (shampoo, toothpaste, soap, ramen, laundry detergent, etc…) ...
