Das richtige Unterkunft in Pisa

Wollten für zwei Nächte in Pisa bleiben, auf unserem Weg nach Rom. Das Hotel liegt in gehbarer Reichweite des Hauptbahnhofs, war einfach und ordentlich. Der Besitzer Michele ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter und netter Mensch. Er gab uns alle Infos, die wir über Pisa wissen wollten, und konnte uns auch den Weg nach Florenz beschreiben. Kann das Hotel für den kurzen Aufenthalt in Pisa empfehlen. Joe Hili, Malta.

Super Unterkunft

Micheles Gästehaus liegt ideal, nur 5 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof in Pisa und den Bussen entfernt. Es ist sauber und frisch und man kann zu fasst allen Sehenswürdigkeiten laufen. Michele weiß so viel über die Gegend und kann viele, gute Empfehlungen aussprechen. Es gab zwar kein Frühstück, die Cafe/Bar Taormina liegt nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und man kann hier richtig schöne, italienische Luft schnuppern, wenn man die tollen Croissants und den leckeren Kaffee trinkt. Werde wieder hier wohnen, wenn ich in der Gegend bin, was wir auch schon planen. Wayne und Jo.

Excellent place to stay

Michele guest house is ideally placed only 5 minutes from Pisa railway station and buses. The accommodation is clean and airy and located within a short walk of all of Pisa's attractions. Michele's knowledge of the area is a huge recommendation in itself. Breakfast is not provided, but the Cafe Bar Taormina is only 2 minutes walk away and gives a super experience of being in the real Italy as well as providing Coffee and croissant. We will stay again if we visit this area, which we plan to do. Stay with Michele.

Tolle Gastfreundlichkeit

Hatte einen Fehler bei der Buchung gemacht und die Buchung nicht bestätigt. Als unsere Reisegruppe ankam, hatte sich der Besitzer schon um ein anderes Hotel für uns gekümmert. War unser Fehler, Michele hatte sich aber sehr bemüht, damit wir einen tollen Aufenthalt in Pisa hatten.

Great hospitality

I screwed up when booking the hotel and never confirmed the reservation, but when my party and I arrived the owner already had arranged another hotel for us to stay at. It was our mistake, but Michele went above-and-beyond to ensure we had a great stay in Pisa.

Avoid this geusthouse!!!

During my trip to Italy I stayed one night in Pisa. I had booked a single room at Michele Guest House Bed and Breakfast.

I do not recommend to stay in this guest house at all!!!

Michele knew I was arriving at midday. I was there on time but there was no sign of Michele to welcome me. He had left a note with a phone number. I had to call his italian phone number from my English mobile phone to tell him I had arrived.....and I had to wait 15minutes before he come to his place....Not exactly the kind of start I was expecting!!!

But then, when I met Michele, he announced me that he didn't have a room for me and he was going to put me in another hotel.

The hotel he sent me was absolutely terrible!!! the room was smoking and I did ask for a non-smoking room. I couldn't sleep the whole night. I asked the staff of this hotel -called : La Torre- if they coul dchange me for another room because I have allergy to cigarette smoke, but they refuse. The staff at La Torre hotel in Pisa was not friendly and rude. The morning staff in the breakfast room couldn't speak English either.

I was very disappointed and will never stay again in this hotel La Torre nor booked a room with Michele Guest House.

A great time at Michele's Guesthouse

We had a nice time at Michele´s Guesthouse, the room was new, clean and airconditioned. Michele gave us very god tips for restaurants...I think we´ll come back...

Never Stay There!

Myself and my boyfriend booked 4 nights in this "B&B" - which by the way does not provide breakfast at all - in May to make sure we'll get what we requested. We specified clearly we wanted a double room. When we arrived late after 11pm we were brought to a terrible twin room as our room was given to someone else, but we were told we need to stay there only for one night. The night itself was a nightmare. We didn't sleep at all as the room was hot, full of mosquitoes and the beds were really tiny.

The next day we wanted to move to the double room - as promised, but Michele who vanished for all day to avoid us left us a "surprise" notice saying that we WILL stay again in the twin room again but the special discount will apply. At that stage we tried to move to any hotel in Pisa, but everything was booked out. When we finally got the chance talk to the guy expressing our great disappointment, he promised us 3 nights for free and moving for sure to the double room the following day.

On the third day we finally moved to the double room, but when we were leaving Michelle charged us anyway for the 3 nights that supposed to be for free. We were so shocked we couldn't even speak so we paid the guy and left.

If you are thinking of booking this place - think again. This man is simply a dishonest person and you cannot trust him at all. We will never ever stay in this place again.

No reservéis!!!

Reservar en esta guest house fue un fiasco. Nos pusimos en contacto con su propietario por lo menos 5 veces por e-mail. No nos pidió ni tarjeta de crédito ni pago por adelantado pero nos ratificó dos veces que había reservado una habitación para mi y mi pareja en la fecha convenida (del 11 al 12 de sep. 2006). Además nos preguntó varias veces a qué hora llegaríamos y le dijimos que a eso de las 11:30 de la mañana.

Llegamos cerca de las 12:00 del mediodía y lo primero que nos dijo este personaje fue que la habitación no estaba limpia, que dejáramos nuestro equipaje en el lobby y que saliéramos a "pasear" por Pisa para darle tiempo de limpiar. Yo le pregunté en cuánto tiempo debíamos volvel y nos contestó que por él que volviéramos en 5 horas más!!!.

Total que nos fuimos a conocer Pisa (se puede hacer andando), pero con una muy mala impresión de Michele y un poco recelosos.

A eso de las 15:00 horas volvimos. Nos abrió una amiga de él (así se presentó), comentando que Michele se estaba duchando y que debíamos esperar en el lobby. Esperamos 10 minutos. Cuando Michelle salió del baño, se fue al living y mantuvo una extraña converasción en italiano con su amiga. Nosotros logramos entender que hablaba de otro hotel que era más caro... En todo caso, la cuestión tenía mala pinta.

Cuando Michele volvió al lobby, venía con 15 euros en la mano. Nos dijo que no tenía habitaciones pero que había hecho los arreglos para que nos hospedáramos en un hotel cercano (de un amigo), por 75 euros. Dijo que como él era una persona "muy correcta" nos daba 15 euros para pagar la diferencia de lo que nos costaría la habitación en su guesthouse. En ese momento yo estaba ya bastante cabreada y le pregunté si efectivamente había una habitación en ese hotel (Hotel Moderno). Él, muy enojado dijo que cómo ponía en duda esta información si, entre otras cosas, nos estaba dejando 15 euros. Nos dio un mapa diciendo a nombre de quién se había hecho la reserva de esta habitación (Sr. Marrano, su segundo apellido). También nos comentó de otros hostales lejos del aeropuerto y nosotros desistimos pues debíamos tomar nuestro vuelo a Barcelona al día siguiente muy temprano por la mañana.

Para hacer más corta la historia: nos fuimos al hotel Moderno, dimos nuestros nombres y les comentamos lo de la reserva del Sr. Marrano. La respuesta fue que no había habitación. No lo podíamos creer. Les explicamos toda la historia, de dónde venáimos, etc. y la respuesta fue la misma y admitieron conocer a Michele. Volvimos a insistir un par de veces más y ellos hicieron una llamada (supusimos que al amigo del tal Michele), pero no hubo caso.

El final de la historia es triste y agobiante: buscamos por toda Pisa un hotel y estaban todos llenos. Fuimos a una oficina de turismo y nos dieron varias alternativas pero estaba todo lleno. Finalmente decidimos ir al aeropuerto para ver si podíamos comprar un vuelo para esa misma tarde a Barcelona pero no había disponibilidad. Pensamos en quedarnos durante la noche en el aeropuerto pues nuestro vuelo salía a las 7:00 Am pero lo cerraban a la medianoche hasta las 5:00 AM. La verdad es que a esas alturas estábamos aterrorizados pensando en que debíamos pasar la noche en la calle. Finalmente, gracias a un trabajador del aeropuerto, encontramos un hotel bastante caro y lejos del aeropuerto.

Cuando regresamos a casa le escribimos al sr. Michele Greco para quejarnos y su desfachatez fue aún peor porque nos dijo que nosotros no habíamos entendido el tema de la reserva en el hotel moderno y que por eso no nos habían dado la habitación. En ningún momento reconoció su error y solamente insistía en que él nos dio 15 euros para pagar el nuevo hotel y que también nos había dado otras alternativas de hostales. Nos preguntó también por qué no habíamos regresado a su guest house después de que en el hotel moderno no nos dieran la habitación. Y la respuesta fue clara ¿Cómo pretendía que volviésemos a su guesthouse depués de habernos mentido de manera reiterada y desvergonzada?

En fin, una pésima experiencia que compratimos con vosotros para que calibréis si merece la pena reservar en este establecimiento o no.

Ideal

What a handy place, it is near to the Train station, within walking distance of everything. The rooms are all newly done up, with lovely airconditiong. Michele (who is male for all of us who think it is the girl version Michelle) is a superb host. He is a tourist information office all by himself. So friendly and helpful. It is not a B&B in that there is no breakfast supplied, but that does not matter, because there are lots of cafes around and all very inexpensive. If going to Pisa don't leave without a trip to Luca which is only a 20 min trip on the train. Michele will tell you all. Thanks for a lovely stay.
