80 degree days then SNOW!!
Just as we were regretting leaving this beautiful weather, it snows on the day we were supposed to leave!!! So we're going to be here until the weather clears up!! What a bummer - to get yourself ready to leave - emotionally and physically - and then be STUCK!! WELL, not stuck - but who wants to travel in snow??

... br> The following day turned out to be full of events during a 240 -mile(!) drive through Boulder and the Estes National Park. Apart from the wonderful views we saw three herds of elk ( 40-50 animals) at close range as they walked through the Estes Village, the males in full rut jostling with each other when they were not chasing the females.
