... We have both discovered a new love for lobster! The sunsets here are phenomenal and it's a really pretty place but we struggled to find stuff to do for a day and a half in this ghost town. We even ventured further afield and went trekking in the woods where I spent an hour trying to photograph a squirrel. Holiday highlight. Everyone knows everyone here, which has always put me at unease. Next stop, hopefully some signs of life at ...

... the Natick churches were gay friendly, with a female reverend. What a perfect little town! We used the afternoon to slowly drive down to Cape Cod. Once again we avoided highways and enjoyed the drive through all the little towns. New England has so much history that every town seems to have so much spirit and soul to it that the drives are really fun. We stopped in a town called Sandwich, right at the entrance to Cape Cod. I didn't know ...

... sexton, Robert Newman, hung two lanterns in 1775 to signal the beginning of Paul Revere's famous ride. We all think of this as the start of the Revolutionary War.

We went up Hull street until we came to our last cemetery visit on the trail, Copp Hill Burying Ground. This graveyard is high on a hill overlooking Boston Harbor. It is the last resting place for over 1000 free blacks who lived near the bottom of the hill. Because of ...
