... in the park and almost impossible to find a parking space. They use shuttle buses to take people on tours of the area. We stayed at a campground an hour’s drive away and high-tailed it out of there next day in the wake of the forecast for eleven inches of snow. In the lowlands it was just rain which is desperately needed in drought-stricken California.

Another early start & also had to pack up my stuff. Managed to avoid sleeping in this morning. First speaker up was an evolutionary biologist, she has written a book called Paleofantasy.
