Well, sorry to say we had no snow :( We slept in extremely late (later than you Mitch!!!), got up and spent the day in the room and doing a few loads of washing (there is machines and dryers down the hall - a HUGE luxury over here - so wanted to make the most of that, besides nothing was open). ... a go. And we're glad we did! They are alive (literally) and kicking and even more spectacular than I remembered them; albeit vaguely). The outdoor gardens were beautiful, but I think we were both most impressed with the flora in the Conservatory and the adjoining rooms and greenhouses. So many different greens, flowers, and landscaping packed in to a huge pavilion. We spent about three hours total there, but easily could have spent several hours ...

... and the Walkers, making new friends in Boston and NYC and seeing Jono made me realise that in little pockets all over the States… there is indeed room for me. There is room and there are open arms.
