... a go. And we're glad we did! They are alive (literally) and kicking and even more spectacular than I remembered them; albeit vaguely). The outdoor gardens were beautiful, but I think we were both most impressed with the flora in the Conservatory and the adjoining rooms and greenhouses. So many different greens, flowers, and landscaping packed in to a huge pavilion. We spent about three hours total there, but easily could have spent several hours ...

... our luggage, by the way, in the room that they were renovating in. The lobby is about a metre by a metre and the "desk" is literally an office desk surrounded by small heaters because it was so cold. The rude lady we encountered in the morning, we found out later, simply didn't check us in because it's not her job. She had a whole lot of unnecessary sass.
