... I wouldn't say we got lost at the terminal, but it did take us quite a while to find the baggage claim area, somehow losing sight of everyone from our flight. We eventually managed to catch the metro bus into south beach Miami and arrived at our hotel by 11:00 pm. We unloaded and most importantly changed as it is seriously hot here, then we went for a walk to see the area; wow - did we cop an eyeful all around. Apparently anything goes in south beach Miami - even ...

We arrive at Penn Station at 7:30am, it's raining although warm, so a perfect day to travel out of State. I am going to miss NYC as I have grown fond of its even although the city does not stop, nor does if allow you too. It's the kind of city that runs at 100 miles an hour and you can't help but be carried along with it. This was pretty cool. We got to touch real moon rock, see a space shuttle and watch a 3D film about space. The only bad part was ...

Another Ammon family spring break fly-drive-see-America trip has begun. Today was flying day. Spokane to Minneapolis and then on to Washington DC. Being spring break we saw many friends and acquaintances at the airport. Many were on the same flight to Minneapolis before catching flights for their vacation destinations. The Sweatmans were headed to the tropical beaches of Turks ...

... get changed into anything fabulous - just changed my socks. Had $4 wine and a $6 "snack" which was dinner. So tomorrow we drive to New York. So tomorrow the New York Marathon is on. I did not think that through. The bridge we need to cross to get from Staten Island to JFK Airport is closed due to a whole lot of fit running people. (I wonder if they'll get Tiffany pendants just for finishing). The bridge will open at 3 so there is no point leaving here ...
