      -As I arrive to Weed CA I notice a huge museum with many historical things. I was in need of gas so I stopped at an Arco station to fill up. My plan is to have my next stop in Eugene OR, to visit the university of Oregon. I am hoping to visit at least 3 colleges on my road trip.

      ... Shell station to pick up some apple cider and got a bonus prize for our efforts; F'Real milkshakes! So far, we really like Mt. Shasta. Swigs mother also mentioned that they would be having a BBQ party the next day since Swig was home and we were welcome to come.       ... breeze since the Anza-Borrego. All the well. There was a bunch up the day before due to Alder creek being dry so quite a few hikers were headed to the same places. We hiked hard all day and then when we finally reached our end of day camp, we saw three other hikers already there. Swig was right behind us so that made six people in a five-to-six person camp.
