For some reason I booked a train at 5pm, however I thought it would be fine getting on the 3.30pm train to come home. How wrong I was.
Kicked off the train at the next stop and told to wait for my train in an hour and a half.

Wymondham, a beautiful village
... Altar of the Abbey. It looks spectacular as is ,but when the lights are switched on behind the Altar it comes to life. Such a surprise to find this in the small town. Walking through the township itself is of course a delight, lovely old and very well maintained housing, shops and market square buildings. All good stuff.
Getting late by now and time to call it a day. Great day today, will be moving on to Colchester tomorrow. see you there.
