The packing to do list is made, so I guess I need to stop blogging and start packing! I cannot wait to share our travel adventures with you all. I know this trip is going to be AMAZING!!! An adventure awaits and I am ready for it!

After a few little final loose ends to tie up around the house, we'll head off this morning up to Leesburg where we will meet up with Martha and Keith, and head to Dulles airport.

... Shenandoah Park day. We drive out and it’s a nice day for a hike. The road winds around the national park and the views are of green green valleys with lots of luscious trees around. We miss our planned first trek – Little Stony Man as the sign was so small my go go gadget eyes just saw it as we drove past it. So we carried on to the next hike – Lewis Falls. This morning we drove back to Luray as we found they have a wildlife walk there called Luray-Hawksbill Greenway. We eventually managed to find it and parked the car.
Almost straight away we saw a bird that we had not seen before. It was a Black Crowned Night Heron. We then saw a Green Backed Heron and a Blue Heron. Later we saw an Eastern Bluebird which we wanted to see since we arrived ...
