    Our first day on the road. Tori wants to stay on interstates and close to big cities. It is a challenge to my usual driving style. We did manage to get through both Baltimore and Washington DC with only a minor tie-up. Stopped and ate at chain restaurants. Not my usual style but this is Tori's trip. Our next destination is Arlington, Texas. Tori has a friend there.

    ... down on the rustic lodge. We sat near the patio doors which overlooked the mountains. Kelsey had a wonderful view of the lightning striking through the clouds in the distance. Food and view was great. As the rain finally calmed down enough, we booked it to the car. It was a tent party after that.
