    Wet morning as we departed Washington DC. Plan A was implemented - go to the Air and Space Museum near Chantilly near Dulles Airport. Arrived just on opening time, parked quite close to the entry and were in the building quickly because we did not have any bags for checking. Museum is HUGE.     I don't even know where to start to describe this area of Virginia. During our week stay we saw so many breath-taking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Water Falls, Historic Civil War Battleground and Museum, and played on grand golf courses.

    This will definitely be a place we re-visit and plan to stay a few weeks. Also we would consider making this our retirement home. The cost of living seems to be reasonable as per our visit ...

    Then it was a confusing but quick trip to the hotel. We didn't know it at the time, but a theme throughout the trip was us getting lost trying to find the hotel, which always seemed to be to the west and directly into the setting sun.
