Left Richmond with great hopes for putting a lot of miles behind us but were thwarted by winter. Almost like it was following us. After only 4 hours we had to end our day due to over (according to the news) 100 accidents on the Interstate 95 corridor. Lunch at Harpers Ferry where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers converge, as do the states of West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland. A very old and historic town - could ramble for hours.

Travelled via the pretty Catoctin Mountain area. We have had some great drives through the countryside, getting off the highways when we can.
