... soften the blows of cold, carrying skis, the need for food .... But having said that we actually had a great day! Ted the kamikaze on the slopes; Jess, Liv and Pete conquering the blue slopes together and me spending time racing Ted on the slopes and doing the runs with the girls. We had a lovely last night reminiscing about our ski time at dinner and the final controversy before bed was working out who could say what about whom on the blog! Over and out Squaw ...

... a bit of trouble herself getting her ski on. There was too much snow on mums boot so she couldn't get her ski on! After about ten minutes we were all safely down the mountain.���ᘳ 5; After that catastrophe, we went to pick up Ted from ski school and had a few more runs then went home. I was really happy when I got home. I was exhausted!! This was a good achievement/challenge and let's hope for a smoother day tomorrow! ...

... that i could not tell what they were. Every now and then they would make a loud flapping noise and go under the water. Once i saw these things i decided i was no going back in - they could have been alligators. I later learned they would have been river ottas. Just don't see this stuff in nz. Postscript:- went for a run this morning. Don't think those things are bats, just weird ...

... at their 1880 horse drawn steamer. Arguably, the best maintained steamer of its age. There is a lot to see in the museum, but this is a must see!

After wondering the streets a bit, I found the Silver Dollar Saloon. I followed the stairs down to what appears to be a dark basement. It’s not. The patrons and I enjoyed music. Out the back door on the patio, I found live music. Jesse was playing his music’s sets to those who would enjoy the music. He is good.
