    ... I saw a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while, including Co-ed, who had split off more than 500 miles before in Franklin, NC, I got some free stuff and I had a good time. There was a lot of stuff I didn't mention here, as well, that made it a lot of fun and set the festival atmosphere, like the food trucks and live bands everywhere and other events and activities.     ... wanted to get a new bag. Plus I realized that the next big town where I planned to stay overnight was in about 100 miles, and I wanted to charge my phone and battery pack before then.     ... went up in smoke. I was halfway through attaching the new suspension to my hammock when, without going into details, I discovered that half of it was completely useless. I emailed the company I bought it from and they said they'd send me the piece I needed to Damascus, but the entire reason I was stopping at the hostel in the first place was that it was the closest spot my parents could mail me the hammock stuff so I could get it as soon as possible.
