    Plumeria

    Plumeria has been our favourite flower during this journey. It has a sweet scent and is often used in 'leis' (Hawaiian garland). Little did we know that it is used commonly in cemeteries and is known in Hawaiian as 'make-man' translated as 'dead man' flower!!! Check out the plumeria in our photos (the yellow/white flower on our right ear).

    That brings me to Lumeria...a beautiful retreat set in upcountry Maui ...

    ... van back down, I joined most everyone else on mt. bikes down the mountain. I thought it would've taken longer but it was fun nonetheless. At one point coming down we went through a eucalyptus and (something else that I can't remember) forest which smelled like someone had opened a thousand jars of Vick's vapor rub.
