... Mr Jane Fonda recently bought the rights and doesn't allow the tour to use them. We first went past the airport and saw a scene from George Clooneys, 2010 The Descendants. At Ahukini we saw Pagan Love Song, Donovan's Reef and Six Days Seven Nights. We got out and looked around the area and took photos. The trade winds have returned after four weeks and the breeze is lovely. When we got back on the bus we ordered our lunch of the fish sandwich. Honeymoon in Vegas ...

Everyone was surprisingly cheery when the 3:00 alarm went off in Calgary on July 2. Off we were to the airport to start our adventure. The quick 1.5 hour flight to Seattle was uneventful, however once in Seattle the adventure began. Once we had boarded our plane, we learned that the catering truck had hit and damaged the plane. Being the windward side, this has been the wet side of the mountain for thousands of years, so the erosion valleys being on this side is pretty logical. From here we can see some of the buildings on the peak, and blue sky above. Looking across the crater rim, we can see the peaks of the Big Island above a sea of cloud.

... this pool created by nature. A rock barrier separates the ocean from the pool. One of the pools is around 7-12 feet deep and about 12X20 feet in diameter. There are many different kinds and colors of fish that are swimming in it, as well as other ocean life. It is like swimming around in your own little aquarium. There are also a number of smaller pools in which you can observe marine life.
