Breakfast consisted of a flavorful smoothie enhanced by the fresh pineapple. Maui Golds are supposed to be the best from Hawaii (interjection here from Cynthia: best from anywhere). Even better than Dole, which is on Oahu. (Interjection from Cynthia again...so much better than Dole). Maui Gold pineapples were developed (non-GMO, I think) to be sweeter and less acidic than any other pineapple. Read all about it here ...
