... huge creatures (adults are over 50 feet long!) swim so gracefully and CLOSE to us!! The mom was only about 18" below our kayak as she swam underneath, with her baby in front of her. She was so huge and so close that Keely inadvertently screamed, "Oh, dear God!", as she wasn't sure we weren't going to get tipped over. It was a thrill!!

Today we awoke late about 10am and after breakfast we went shopping for snokel gear and a walk along the beach front. Found the ABC Stores just aound the corner and bought a mask and snorkel for $13 each. They were everywhere in Waikiki and now we find them in Maui. They are a convenience store at good prices.
