Kia ora!
Welkom terug voor mijn laatste blog vanuit Nieuw-Zeeland! Zoals ik de laatste keer al aankondigde heb ik mijn laatste dagen in Auckland besteed. Tja het weer.. Als echte Nederlandse mag ik daar natuurlijk lang en breed over klagen, want het was niet opperbest. Elke dag begon met flinke regenbuien waarna het aan het einde van de middag wel wat droger werd, maar continue bewolkt bleef.
Deze week stond vooral in het tegen van vertrekkers ...

... We went down to a nearby beach which was really pretty, and so quite, like most places in New Zealand, and had some lunch in a café there. I could not believe how many chips Mia was able to eat! We then headed down to Pine Harbour were me and Conor would be getting a ferry back to Auckland. Before we caught the boat we had some time to walk around the harbour, then we had to say our goodbyes and were off back to Auckland for a second time.

... Sydney with hardly any people around. I guess that a few months ago it would have been completely different when everyone was over for the World Cup. As you walk around the city you can see the remains of all of the World cup promotional signs, and clearly everyone is very proud of their All Blacks.
