... voucher was a good tradeoff. At the last minute they called me up and assigned me a totally different seat. So now I'm no longer with Kim and have nothing to show for it. ... to handle the lone Luddite. Finally captain came on speaker and sad sorry for inconvenience and gave email address to send your worse horror stories of persecution to American Airlines. Ah U.S. Airway wanted to hurry this part of the merger along by not giving U.S. Airway email.

I survived snoozed in short spurts and felt totally worn out and in zombie land by time plane landed in Charlotte. That was a 9 1/2 hour flight.

I'm sitting in the Charlotte airport on my 8 hour layover, drinking a cold beer and reflecting on the last 10 years. This trip is far and beyond anything I've ever done before, and it is really exciting. Especially since I still don't have half of it planned yet!

I'm going to keep my eyes, mind, and heart open and have a great time!

Got up, showered, dressed and went to church at Community in Christ Lutheran Church. Got gas for Colorado on our way back....38.00 on visa. Stopped at Walmart for groceries and other necessities......175.98 on visa. Came "home" and took naps. woke up and made a chopped salad and took it and corn on the cob and Starbuck burgers over to Eric's for supper. Brought our grill along and cooked. It was a lovely ...

... myself today, and it was a little scary but also a little nice. It's nice time to think. Plus I'm really enjoying my bike. I didn't actually love biking before this trip; I liked it, I liked it a really good amount, but I'm really starting to enjoy it. Two eighty mile rides in this hilly countryside back to back is pretty tough, so certainly by the end of the day I'm ready to be done. We went to dinner in the park ...
