Here in Fort Madison, Iowa (my hometown) packing snacks for the trip. Costco visit (thanks Julie & Nevaeh) yielded enough granola bars and salted nut rolls to grow very tired of them forever. ... today was special. I spent Thanksgiving with Kurt & Alline at a friends place down the road from Dancing rabbit and felt sooooooo welcomed, comfortable and thankful that emotions were abound. Something to be said about the hospitality and graciousness of the midwest folks. Definately the bread basket of our country.
