Our first stop today was the Telegrpaph Field on Valentia Island. This spot was important because even though it is in the absolute middle of no where, this is where the communication cable first came to Ireland. Instead of taking one week to deliver a message to America, it was now instant.

Monday: I took a mini adventure into the city by myself in search for post cards and whatnot. Yay me! This is also the stat of Raise and Give week at UCC. This is when the entire campus goes all out to raise money but having conserts, games, etc. to raise money for the less fortunate.
