Oooooh we've been so busy! So let us catch you all up! We were pretty keen to get some Caribbean beach and sun time after Granada and so, on Russell's persuasion and insistence, we flew with Rose to the Corn Islands. These are two small, remote islands off mainland Nicaragua. We flew to Big Corn Island, into a tiny airport (just one room!), and from there headed to the dock. ...

After a few days of lazing on a Pacific beach we thought we'd even it up by heading over to the Caribbean side to visit the Corn Islands. A short flight in an aging turbo-prop over the width of Nicaragua saw us touching down on Big Corn, where we were met at the airport by a taxi driver name David who took us to our guest house. ... the island so I was happy - and according to some scientific law its been proven that a happy person makes other people happy. But after two nights we decided to move as the dive school had better accommodation and they gave us a discount if we dived with them. So the last two nights we stayed at Dolphin Dive which was really nice. To be honest, we also left Casa Iguana because the owner was a wicked scorpion witch woman and charged more than a wounded buffalo.

Tonight was a VERY LONG NIGHT! 12 hours 'sleeping' on an airport floor which we now know was cleaner then probably any bed we have slept on for the last two months. They mop them at least every two hours! We are headed for Little Corn, a quiet little Island.. The agenda for the week.. Not much! The beaches on little corn are beautiful! Relaxing on the beach in a tree house just in front of our hostel first thing in the morning, it felt like ...
