A 345 mile, 6+ hr. drive today to Hampton, VA to stay at the Colonies RV & Travel Park at Ft. Monroe which is on a very historic peninsula . We passed thru Mt. Olive, the Pickle Capital and drove past fields of tobacco and peanuts. The trip along and under the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel was spectacular.

We'll be camped here when we fly to Branson to celebrate our aunt's 90th ...

The surrounding estuaries and tidal lagoons team with lovely wildlife and the town itself is home to the Museum of Bizarre which Bella and Freddie loved. See pictures. Next brief stop Williamsburg ...

... those darn Pelicans are hard to catch on film, they are amazing birds huge! Average size has a 10ft wing span there are several varieties we've mostly seen the black ones and white, the black dive for their fish it's really something to watch they free fall from the sky directly into the water and pop up with a fish...the white ones open up their big bills and scoop them up more delicate. :-)

Great day to boat we traveled along the ICW a quiet place ...
