Na Umzumbe ging ik met de Bazbus op naar Coffee Bay, een plaatsje in de Transkei. Ook hier kwam ik direct alweer mensen tegen die ik eerder in de Drakensbergen al had ontmoet. ... blijven overdag op Bongulethu, de peuterzaal op het project en de ouderen gaan naar een basisschool buiten de Haven. Driekwart van de kinderen is besmet met HIV en alle kinderen wonen hier omdat hun ouders niet voor ze kunnen zorgen. Sommigen zijn wees en sommigen zijn in de steek gelaten door hun familie... Je voelt je bijna schuldig als je zegt dat je bij je beide ouders woont en dat je hele familie nog leeft.
