Anyway I'm up at the crack of dawn, literally, arrive at the Emirates desk and explain about my problem of checking in online only to find out I had checked in but I hadn't been allocated a seat as they wanted to offer me a seat with extra leg room and that I was fit and able enough to open the emergency door, result!     ... February. The miles of underground shopping and dinning called "the path" is a very welcome relief from the cold of the streets. We managed to negotiate and learn this complicated network quite quickly. I am told the police are very hot on jay walking and the pedestrian crossing systems are a nightmare with the blue " walk " light also allowing vehicular traffic to turn at the same time. This left us in the middle of a dual carriageway with traffic ...

    ... predicted, all did not go quite to plan, but I think I am leaving with everything I'll need - sorry mum for the mess still left behind, take it as a memento ;) I know you'll miss me really!
