... Hold ups galore adds to the time, so we tried to bypass one long queue of trucks and cars by going miles into and around the countryside which is very picturesque. we were taken with the lovely flower boxes everywhere, plus the hanging pots along town streets.
This hotel is lovely, clean and pretty quiet with just the occasional jet flying overhead.

... t super difficult occasionally a train coming in the opposite direction would startle me. Sometimes the sway of the car would seem to abruptly change direction which would heighten my awareness, but overall it was a good rest when you consider you are in a moving vehicle.
