... and a yachting marina. There is a very interesting museum and some of the 18th century shipwright’s and labourer’s cottages have been preserved to show how the village would have looked in the early 1800s. One quirky exhibit in the museum was the Puckle Gun – a primitive autocannon (1719) designed by James Puckle to prevent enemy boarding of ships. There were 2 designs - one to fire round bullets ...

... strict dry programme means no alcohol is allowed if being caught we could send off home for it. So me, and my 2 friends drinking, chatting away and giggles even we had ONE cider!! -.- Realised the board gate is open and 10 minutes worth walk! We panic ran over and saw man driving on mini car one of my friend used his hearing aid card to take us! Finally arrived the board gate... HERE I OFF..... Keep eye out for next blog! ...

After a night of power-snoring at Westie's, Paul embarked on a quest to find out what Portsmouth has to offer the middle-aged Mod.
The answer was provided by the great chaps at Pie and Vinyl - a shop which sells, well I think you can guess. "They're pie masters you know," said Paul, bless him. Thus, fortified by a masterful beef and ale pie and a nostalgic browse through the records, Paul set off to find a Portsmouth sticker to help hold his scooter together.
