... around the house and walked back though the garden, we got ourselves on the road to Chichester. First we were guided up to the M25, which we went along a little way, as far as the junction with the M23, which we took in the direction of Brighton, before we turned off and travelled west. That eventually took us past Arundel, where we were able to see both the castle and the abbey/church from the road, as we carried on ...

Then drove to the park and ride to park as it is much easier than parking in the centre. Got on the bus which took us right to opposite the Gun Wharf. Wandered through to the front. Decided to get some lunch first. Had really good views of the harbour and we were watching the France and Isle of Wight ferries come and ...

Packing lightly

... Extra shirts or not, we are off to Heathrow tomorrow afternoon to board our 18 hour flight to Asia. We hope to be able to update our friends and family on our where abouts and adventure stories along the way, depending on the speed of internet. Right now all I can think about is the joy of DUTY FREE and the classic airport cocktail, that is always excepted at airports, no matter what hour of the day!
