... In places you could see scarring on the mountain sides from previous avalanches. As we wound our way down the mountains we passed through the last snow shed - the Great Bear Snow shed. The scenery continued to change as we reached the Fraser Valley with farmland and crops coming into view. This area is a large producer of corn and berries. Abbotsford was the next town we travelled through - it is the raspberry capital of Canada.

Up early on on the bike to drop it at BMW dealer in Victoria for a 65000 mile service and new tyres at last. Decided to try Hadenau as write ups were good.
