    ... believe this. He has been fishing since he was 8 years old and showed a grace on the water that went way beyond his years.

    We worked hard - nowhere to hide in a small group of 3. Our final session was on the Battenkill River - the spiritual home of New England fly fishing. The weather was not kind - very wet and misty. None of us caught any fish but a good time was had by all. And yes, I did "get it"!

    We decided to have our engine parts shipped and we got a 10 day pass for the lock system: a whopping $37.50!! We moved down to Fort Edward at Lock #7 for a few nights. There is free power and water, as well as bathroom and showers. No internet though- we walked over a half hour to McDonald's in the new section of town to get internet. The town has some ...

    ... passengers from Lake Champlain to Troy, New York in 24 hours by fast relays.
    There is not, however, a lot for tourists. They don't even want you to bring your trash..... we cannot find a single trash can in any parks nearby and they state "no boat trash". There are two pubs in the historic area but we didn't feel like being inside, so we will eat on the boat. With a police station right in front of us we are not expecting any strange happenings ...

    ... is in need of some TLC. Cell service at the campground was non-existent and we had to make calls while we were riding around the area. We had a surprise visit from some of my old friends Roy & Betty was great that they came out to visit us and great catching up with them.
