    To my many fans, admirers and readers, yesterday's blog typos were mainly caused not by a surfeit of G n T (chance would be a fine thing!), but by the poor interface between Apple's "Pages" software and its own IOS 8.something now installed on my iPad.     Today's reruns of choice were episodes of NCIS, conveniently screened on the same channel as the Law & Order marathon from yesterday. Now we may have still had leftovers, and we may have still been chilling around the hotel until mid afternoon.

    We did decide however, that since we had so much time to spare and had explored most of the town already (think of Rutland as like a Bunbury with mountains), that we should start packing ...

    ... and then after crossing to the other side of the highway, the Diamond Run Mall. It was here that we found our very first JCPenney (not as good as Ellen DeGeneres makes it out to be), and also our first Sears (this was worth the walk). After a little shopping for Jess and a little bit more shopping for me, we decided to head back; that, and there were storm clouds rolling in.

    ... plaza shopping centre were we (mainly me :P), did a spot of shopping, and we had our first encounter with a real, live, Walmart.
    We headed back to our hotel for another little spot of napping, and decided that heading ourt for dinner was too much of a struggle. Pizza Hut on the other hand, sounded like a much better idea, so we got that delivered to our room instead. Pizza, garlic bread, ...

    Up at 0500 hours, and ready to roll, but weather channel indicated heavy fog in Houlton, Maine. Delayed my departure until 0730 hours, after I went across the street from the motel to a gas station and asked if any of the truckers had just come north on I-95. One piped up and said yep, why?
