For lunch we dropped into Easy Over's in Cuttingsville for tasty toasted sandwiches then off to the famous Pearce's Store. This is the local general store where you'll find Lavinia, one of the colourful local personalities who welcomed us warmly. As a memento of our visit Scott purchased a Pearce's Store t-shirt to show off back home.

It turns out that Annick and Fabian, my Quebecer friends slept under the bridge that we planned to meet on today. I waited for a couple minutes, wondering from which direction they would approach the bridge, not considering underneath as an option. Funny way to start the day.
