... we will usually change our route to incorporate it. Always been worth it so far. Some of the houses along Lake Michigan were so large and opulent - mansions. Along the beaches, there were lots of people taking advantage of the good weather. The water in Lake Michigan is very very cold though we did see a few people swimming. These lakes are so huge - I guess that's why theya re called the Great Lakes. Ha Ha. It's like most things, knowing and seeing can be 2 very diffferent ...

... Ashli for the advice on Carbo Pro and the Stinger Chews. Transition from bike to run no problems. The run was a two lap course. The course was beautiful we had a great view of the lake and ran in some really nice neighborhoods. All along the run the community was out cheering and had brought out hoses from their homes for us to run through. I loved those hoses! It was so hot that I ran through every one of them. The course was also well stocked well with hydration and food. ...

We are up! We were all up at 6:30 am. We didn't have to worry about sleeping in. Breakfast in the hotel. Coffee at the Holiday Inn was awful. So after we packed up the bikes in the drizzle we left around 8:30 and found a Starbucks around the corner. It took us about 35 minutes to get to Racine and during that time the clouds parted and the sun started to shine. First stop was registration and check in. We got there about right after ...
