... in Georgia and it is beautiful. It made its money in slavery and cotton which have now, thankfully, given way to paper, aeronautics, the military and tourism. ... After a walk around, we jumped in the car and headed up the i95 to Jacksonville. We decided to stop 30mins short for lunch and, as we hadn't yet experienced the delights of KFC on our trip, decided it was time. Well, it was like walking into an alternate universe. Matthew, having been an employee of KFC for some years was surprised to find: NO burgers and NO fries. How does that work? We could buy Taco, Burrito and Enchiladas as well as biscuits ...

Once clear of the vessels.... Jerry pointed out the Norfolk Southern Coal Company he managed (before his retirement,) with ships loading alongside with coal. The Crane operating, is the largest operating crane at present in the world, (apart from the crane used to shift Apollo for its launch)...The company has been loading ships with coal coming out of Virginia ...

I saw a giant turtle and 3 alligators…2 of which were on the bank covered in mud and I would have missed them if it wasn’t for a sweet couple from CA in the jeep in front of us that pointed them out to us.
