There is a beautiful pier at the beach, it reminds you of the old time piers with band stands. I should say rebuilt pier because after many storms it has been rebuilt on concrete pilings this time. Just to remind us we are in Hurricane Zone there are huge warning signs ...

... were picking her up to go to the beach with them. Irene, Keith and Michelle came downstairs to wish her well. It was sad to say goodbye to her as we have really become quite good friends in the short time we have been on the tour. I don't think it will be the last time I see her.

The four of us then went to dinner down on River Street again but made it a reasonably early night as we are going to Orlando ...

... live oak trees.
In late afternoon we drove to Forsyth Park Fountain and strolled through the park. The Fountain is cast iron. It was erected in 1858. It's designed to resemble the Grand Fountain in Paris. The beauty of the fountain was great but God's beauty in the creation of the beautiful oak trees, can't be out done. Praise Him.

... back pain. We're now heading to Savannah with a mattress like the clouds and a wallet like a dried up river!! Can't wait to sleep in comfort tonight. This stop also provided us with a challenge of having to back up onto the road. With 2 guides and a few tries, we had success. This camper doesn't maneuver quite like the little one.
