... was impossible, they built the Atlantic Wall all along the west coast of Europe. Did you know there are 77.000 German soldiers buried in Normandy? Even though the allies lost a lot of men, the Germans suffered the most casualties. I hope each of you get to visit this site at some point in your life. We as Americans owe a huge debt to the families of the young men who fought for our freedoms.
