... the horses over morning coffees on our bedrooms balcony, going for bike rides to the nearby village to buy fresh bread, doing some much needed pre-train trip laundry and swimming in our indoor pool (yes...our own indoor pool!)

UPDATED: like the back of our hand
... in the sense they are a minority culture with their own local language lost under the "grand flag" of the French Republic. They're cool people, I think they were generally pretty friendly. Bee was also impressed by their crepes, which is the best in France. We tried some with our new friend and host, Emilie. Miam miam!

A Legendary Forest

So, we got kind of bored standing around listening to the French guide, who I am sure was really good, and we just wandered around on our own until it was time to pile back onto the tour bus.
