      ... is much more tolerable. Poutine is French fries with cheddar cheese curds, ( like chunks of mild cheddar) and gravy. The gravy in quebec is very light. That made more edible for me. Then we took off for Knowlton, Lac Brome which is where Louise Penny lives. We have stayed the last two nights at the Auberge Du Lac Brome.       ... catholic churches we've ever seen, Saint Mary Star of the Sea!!
      After this we continued our day trip to Lake Willoughby, a beautiful lake created by the glaciers!! Where we joined the locals & went swimming!! It was a warm day - 78 degrees - perfect for a swim in a cool mountain lake! I found the most incredible rock in this lake, I'll treasure forever!!
