... we had considered planning a trip to VT tonight to see a friend, but the travel time just doesn't make sense. Tomorrow we will got to FDR's mansion in Canada and the most eastern point in the US, Quoddy State Park, to see the most eastern US lighthouse. Sunday will be filled with packing and football. Lot's to do between now and Tuesday morning when we say "Adios" to Bangor!

Sorry for the short post, but I can taste the stale airplane air ...

We started heading back off the island the way we had gotten on and decided that the planned lobster roll for dinner wouldn't work right now after our custard spluerge.

There were signs all over town and on the shuttle buses for L.L.Bean and when we asked at the custard stand and were told that the flagship store and outlet was in Ellsworth Maine just up the road. Sheree needed a new pair of jeans ...

Last night the Ferguson's invited the Lynches, Griers, Collards and us over to their coach for social hour before we all departed the following week. The Collards reported that they had gone to Folk Festival downtown that day and had really enjoyed themselves. We left the Wonder View Inn in no rush on the 6th due to the pouring rain. Around noon the clouds seemed to slow down to a slight drizzle so we got on the road to Bangor.
