... great catching up! Missing them already, and wish we coul summit with them on Sunday. Well, right now it is 12:45am...Saturday, I think........we are in a hotel room in Bangor Maine, the same one I stayed at after finishing my last thru-hike. It feels good to be here, I'm clean, my clothes are clean, I'm full, and I have about 10 days to explore the Maine coastline, before heading to Maryland - to heal up the ankle/knee and now, also the wrist :( - AND figuring out my next adventure ...

... when I left for so long, but they are very zen, and accepted me back, immediately. For them the past is forgotten; there is only the present, what is right now. So I'll think of sweet Ursa, and try to remember to feed only six cats instead of seven. And also try to enjoy life the way it is right now, even though it's late March and I'm snowbound. Luckily I have snowshoes and can still walk in the woods. And shovel more snow.
