Since leaving Hikers Welcome Hostel, for the second time....things have just kept getting worse. The ankle and knee have not improved. Being sick for such a long time took its toll also, over two weeks of being sick up to 8 times a day, and 5 times a night. But, as we headed through the whites, the scenery was absolutely beautiful! Today is the day we separate ways from Debbie and Jim :( We enjoyed a nice breakfast of sausages, boiled eggs and some of the fresh bread and fruits we picked up at the Masstown Market. Over the bridge from Wiscasset is Damariscotta, the scene of a very interesting boat race each year. Everyone in the race must build their own boat of whatever they choose for materials and I have seen everything but a commode used to float people down the river, I kid you not.
