... that is. Un huh. I found out there was an island nearby, other than the one on the resort. The second day I was here off I went to Anna Maria Island. It is a wonderful place with sugar sand beaches, great seaside cafes and bars and is just laid back as can be. I walked out on the beach, but didn't go into the Gulf of Mexico cuz I didn't have my swim suit along. Lots of folks were sunning themselves and just enjoying the good weather ...

Today is Saturday, October 3rd, so it must be day 13 of my NP tour. Today we spend an hour or so waking through the lost luggage store in Scottsboro, Alabama where Barbara bought a new John Lescroart book for $3, and we got the road for Florida. ... to anchor and for the first time ever, we were going to tie up on mooring balls. Lucky for us, one of the Good Captains had already coached First Mate on the proper way to tie to a mooring ball (essentially one forms a bridle with ropes off of the bow of the boat, in case you folks wondered.
