... outside kiosks that sell a variety of goods. The central market building is the more interesting part of the area. It is two floors and very similar to a Canadian farmer market. The second floor has a nice food court with fine foods. Dan and I split a small marinara pizza as an afternoon snack before catching the bus back to the hostel (in Tavernelle).

It's been a pretty unique birthday, but I'm ready to call it a night.

Learning a new system of journaling has taken some time, and I am just now starting to get the hang of it. I hope that I can begin to use the journal in a more natural manner. Perhaps I should go back to ordinary pen and ink?
