... is quite high off the ground. Only down side I can see is it won't be so easy parking. Popped case into boot then momentarily confused as something wasn't right when opened front right door!! Oops, hopefully the only timr I make that mistake.
Set sat nav system for first destination and off I go - very cautiously while I get used to driving on the 'wrong' side of the road and changing gear with 'wrong' hand.
Last full day in Saumur and it has stopped raining! Anne spent the morning shopping and I had a bit of a wander round Saumur, met for lunch, then went to look at the gardens at Chateau Villandry. Evening meal out was lovely, a good end to our few days in ...

Travelling day today. Had breakfast at the hotel, packed up and left at 11:30. Drive took longer than google maps estimated and we arrived at Les Terrasses de Saumur at 5:30. Greeted by Roger before we'd even got out of the car! A quick change and settle in our studio 'Le Bleuet' then off for dinner with Pam, Roger, Sue and Richard. Very disappointing meal for a three pot Logis. Hence we won't eat here ...

As I dropped to below 90 miles left I was remembering previous experiences of waiting for a petrol station in France, there never seemed to be one around when needed. We stopped and had lunch and set off again when I saw a sign for petrol in the next town.
