... is not too isolated and the 60km ride to Avignon only costs €1.50 and the villages or towns are only ever 2-10 kms apart. The weather has been pretty good with only a few windy days and the occasional cold days to complain about, and no rain! In our flat it is spacious and has heaters to keep us warm. Father Bertrand Daudade has been very friendly and helpful. He has offered to take us on a tour of the church bell tower, we just have to catch him to take him up on his ...

Went to Arles with Hanna G. and had a wonderful, wonderful day!! We saw the Espace Van gogh, La Place Van Gogh, La Café La Nuit, and a Musée of contemporary art.

They must have had a great need for priests at some point because there are 10 beds here. There is also a double bed in a separate room at the other end of the flat. The children and I puzzled over it for some time. We figured that it belonged to a very fat priest... who snored.
