    ... appliances and the Dream bus! Very much like the explorers, we headed out to cross the Cook Strait. First of all, Wellington weather did not magically improved. Second, there was not great weather on the high seas. Third, well, our destination, Picton, wasn't welcoming us with sunny and warm weather.     ... agisted cattle. The property has a small mountain range at the back which includes a trail walk of 1 1/2 hours if you are so inclined. There is a small waterfall at the top after walking thru a few paddocks of farm animals and thousands of cow 'bombs'.
    If you do the walk at night you can also see the glow worms so of course that’s when we went. Picked up a torch each from the farmers wife, only to have two go completely dead by the time we were half way there.

    ... stop anywhere to get a decent photograph. We did however stop at Woodbury Church which has a photo of the church in Woodbury, Devon and several memorial stones of people from that area in England.     ... like alien tendrils searching for another human to leech upon. I assumed this was how the plague was passed between humans and therefore found myself having to revert to matrix like maneuvere's in order to dodge oncoming rats tails. The infected tribes followed us to the van, chanting some form of rats tail mantra. I feared the words would hypnotise me and closed my ears to all sound.     ... lives on a hill you can only catch the bus off the main road so we had to walk for 20 minutes. She showed us that people had mini cable cars going up to their homes which were really high up on the mountain. The swimming pool had been there since the 1920's and it hadn't changed a great deal. There were photos of the place in 1920 in the entrance. It cost $7 to get in and that included the 'spa'. Basically a hot tub in the corner. Me and Noel did a couple ...
