    ... and picked - that bit was very exciting, the cruise company does all the hard work there and we just have to pick what we think sounds like fun - maybe that's how we should have done the rest of the trip?

    Trip advisor and booking.com are now my new best friends. I've spent hours trolling their websites and can't wait to see some of the lovely looking places I have found on-line.

    ... had one of the best beds of the trip so far. But we had no time to lollygag around. There was wine to be had! Once we checked in, we rented bicycles for our trip around the Renwick region, just west of Blenheim. They had a map ready for us with some recommended wineries along a bicycle route. It was convenient and the weather was great.

    ... there, we checked into our motel, Admirals Lodge.
