Hard life of work
... careful not to get sunburned :D
After enjoying the weekend with barbecue and beer I have to work hard the next week…
As I told last week, the view is the best thing on the vineyard. Now I have two photos to put in this entry. Maybe next week there are more news. But because of the hard work no one feels like doing much on the weekend like sightseeing or something :D
Hope for interesting things in the next entry,
with greetings from the sunny side of the world ;)

A sophisticated sort of travelling
... listening stations down the road.
Here we met a really nice lady who took us through all the different wines, and explained everything about them, making things a little clearer for our puzzled minds. It turned out at this point that Scott actually knows about wine, way more than I do...so whilst he chatted wine talk with the lady, I tried the wines and found a new favourite - a wine with a german name that I can't pronounce - good start I know.

The beauties of the world right here NZ.
... of you anyway. But i am an idiot!!
The following day was fun attempting to water ski with Tony and Nicole. I gave tracey, Adam and her family a fair bit of entertainment with my regular splits on the water. The first go was rather hilarious when i failed to let go of the handles after i'd clearly gone under water and all they could see was my head being dragged under. What a twit!! Fancy not letting go and i can tell you sea water, fish poo really isn't my idea of a nice cuppa tea. ...
Saying goodbye
... s time to pack up and leave. It’s a weird feeling. I’ve become almost settled – Picton has become a home away from home. It reminds me that I’m really rather ready to put my bag down and settle, to start a life again somewhere. Travel has become a big part of my life, and a part that I hope stays with me for the rest of my life. But it really would be nice to have a permanent address again. Where that is however, is something I’m still working on. ...
Zuidereiland II: Fjorden, gletsjers en stranden
