... a smooth, water-worn rocky shore. There were plenty of signs warning us to stay off the black rocks to avoid being swept out to sea by rogue waves. ... the fun and colorful designs - we've shared some photos below of what we saw In Mahone. It is a traditional event that all the merchants participate in, as well as many of the local residents. There were literally hundreds of these fun scarecrows lining the streets in and around Mahone Bay, and even in some of the neighboring villages.
