So tomorrow we leap onto another airplane heading west - weather permitting. A few hours in LA, an overnight in our old stomping grounds of Fiji, and Christchurch here we come! Leg 2 is about to begin…

Peggys Cove and Lunenburg
... fisher village and the granite rocks are the impressive things there. The drive is amazing and going further towards Lundenburg you can always stop for photographs. The towns also become more and more colourful and look like in Scandinavia or Ireland maybe. If I could, I would retire there ...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
... Festival got us in the mood with Father Christmas figures and loads of other Christmas decorations and displays lining the streets, carollers and a horse and wagon ride was just the ticket. We were treated to a dusting of snow during the wagon ride and the girls gorged themselves on homemade chocolate from the market that was filled with holiday baking, preserves, and yes, lots of chocolate goodies. Day-tripping...
... nearby so after a few days of camping we’re feeling a bit caged. We’ve been day-tripping to Halifax, taking drives through the towns locally and scoping out possible cottages. Lunenburg is by far my favourite town, but there is nothing available for rent right now so we have chosen a rather large house in the town of Chester which is near Lunenburg but closer to Halifax, very picturesque, and fairly small.
