... meant we had the quaint restaurant's deck all to ourselves. I've been trying to eat Czech food so I ordered goulash--it was a bowl of roast beef covered in gravy with "dumplings" (bread) on the side. I didn't mention how steep the hill was to the restaurant . That was just the beginning! It got really steep after that as we huffed & puffed up the steep path to the Karlstein Castle. This was the castle where Charles IV, one of the ...
We love this resort so much that we decided to stay another day and night. The photos of Pocatky were taken from a 16th. century bell tower. We were inside at 12 noon but the bells didn't ring. Thank goodness.
Photo of the time keeper's "nest" are included.
We both had massages today.
Left our Prague apartment this morning and drove to this fitness resort. Foot massage for 2 (that's people not feet) at 6 PM. Horseback riding at 10 AM, full body massage at 2 and Jacuzzi at 7:30 tomorrow. We should really be relaxed by Tuesday!!
Great weather, great time.
