    ... but it looked to be at least 100 ft. When the water from the falls hits the pool, the sound is amazing. For about fifteen minutes we had to share the falls with two other people... what a drag, right? :) For the rest of the time, probably thirty to forty-five minutes, we had the entire area to ourselves! Talk about privacy!

    Zack and Josh decided to swim to the other side to try to see behind the falls. They found that the swim was much more difficult than they expected ...

    ... access to the day spa - steam room, showers etc., so I intend getting their in plenty of time to make the most of it! I got back to the room about 5pm and guess what? It's raining again so no going in the pool today.

    Still knackered and my legs are aching with walking in the sand and braving the beach path twice so going to have dinner and then veg in front of the tv, something I don't get to do at home.

    ... spot #9, with some artful parking by Bob. Again the snorkeling at Hideaways was great. We watched the same type of eel swim through the coral, which was cool. The hens and roosters and their chicks sneak around the beach, like most of the beaches in Kauai. We had a nice morning at Hideaways Beach, and hated leaving.
