Today I arrived at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky to visit the Phi-Beta Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha. EKU is a medium-size school with a cool campus. All of the Greek organizations live together in a residence hall - one for fraternities and one for sororities. I am excited to get to know the guys of Lambda Chi at EKU!

Today we drove to Corbin, KY. The first thing we did was to check out a replica of the Colonel's first KFC restaurant. The original one was a part of a motel that he owned. The motel and the restaurant were destroyed by a fire. It was a very well done replica as it has many of the original furniture and appliances that were in the original place and of the era.

... stopping. With no where to go and nightfall approaching, we decided to call our knight in shining armor Merrill. He was stuck back in Berea with a nasty cough. He rented a truck with no questions asked and rescued us from our flooded little car wash. Thanks Merrill!

... called "The Road Debris Graveyard"; all 3 of us punctured a tire before the day was through. We eventually made it into town to enjoy dinner and crash out for the night.
