... down from lack of storage. Jonathan found the nearby grocery store and filled the fridge with staples, and we checked out the two nearby parks. The girls weren’t particularly smitten with their temporary new home – fear of spiders in the old building had them especially concerned – but they were intrigued by the 'Aussie outhouse’ (basically a no-frills toilet in a shed behind the house). ... room available in her house for $36 a night for both of us. It was a bit further out but had a train station and bus stop close by with easy access to the city, plus we could park the car for free which would not have been possible at the hostel. It sounded too good to be true, but after we had sent a few mails back and forth we were convinced. Today we had booked to visit Toronga Zoo. James and Emily had kindly bought us tickets before we left as they had enjoyed it so much when they were here. Firstly we had to clean up and check up on the kitten that we said we would look after while the fella whos house we are staying in goes away for a few days. It had broken its leg so was living in a cage that it liked to cause havoc in!

... Calamari was really good as well. The place was packed mainly with locals and they were ordering some interesting foods. Late afternoon, me and Colin headed to the Allianz Stadium to watch Sydney FC vs Wellington Phoenix in the A League. We got to the ground quite early because the traffic was light and after a look round in the shop we found our seats, they were absolutely perfect 10 rows from the front right on the halfway line. ...

... face all the time, in fact we only had it twice of all the times we went out.

After a couple of swims and a afternoon nap we dressed up and hit Ubud town center to go for dinner at apparently one of the best restaurants in Ubud......can't have been that great as none of the taxi drivers had a clue where it was...lol.
