... for. Side plate of coleslaw for me and potato salad for Paul with a corn on the cob each was more than enough. Even had enough meat to bring home in a sandwich for lunch tomorrow!

We took a short stroll to the river and watched the rest of the sun setting.

... from their swimming pool, met Hal to feed him apple slices. Apparently they like to do this every once in awhile. Ready to call it a day, so we crossed the bridge back into Louisiana to out Comfort Suites motel in Vidalia. Our room was along the Mississippi River, and we looked out over the bridge, the riverboat casino and the street on which we had our dinner. Nice view with a full moon overhead. We got to Natchez at lunchtime, had a salad, and then headed out to Stanton Hall.


What a beautiful old building, but again, not much of the original furniture is left. We were not allowed to take pictures inside.
