... we were having a good time then all of the sudden this huge male bison came down from the trail (just incase you want to know how big a bison is, it's as tall as Michelle or 6 feet)an we went zooming out of there(we also saw three bears, two black bears and one grizzly)Well Then Bye!

... our "trip" info and photos on this blog. Check in with us as we "travel" through France, briefly through Switzerland and Italy, and then onto Greece (drachmas or euros?!). It's a celebration of 30 years of marriage and we know we're lucky to be able to do this.
Or maybe I'll forget my login info. Or I won't be able to use the "interface" for the host website. Cross your fingers - we're off to Europe!

... a local older neighborhood. The houses were all pretty well maintained craftsman style homes, but every block had at least one Westfalia!
No fake grass though, which made Phil sad. :-(

Beer time!
1st stop, Deschutes Brewery. Phil had to park the van in a parking lot and actually give someone else the keys. He's still shaking about this.

The beer was great, but the place lacked a lot ...

... Beach. It's a little bit out the way, and the people there seemed a bit shocked to find English people visiting them! That said, the pub had some amazing features - including stained glass windows from a church in Morecambe (England!) that was due to be destroyed. The owners of the pub had bought and had them shipped to the USA.
