... to get to the hotel. Apparently I viewed a whole section of the city that was not planned...I guess good exercise to help recover from my frustration. I then was able to find a laundromat as all my clothes, especially the biking clothes were in a need of a washing. ... made a lot easier by switching it from Flemish to English. Our first train was heading east from De Panne to Brussels, so we changed at Lichtervelde, a miniature Crewe in Flanders, and just across the island platform was a train heading north to Bruges etc. The train journey was about half an hour altogether. Had to give Ghent a miss as time had run out. Back to Antwerp where Lotty had a lovely meal waiting for us. She has looked after us so well and is so thoughtful. Has even made lunches for us to take when we go out. She's an absolute gem.
