Sleepy Rosario
... had a nightcap before heading to bed.
The next day was July 9th, which is Argentina's independence day. We had seen enough "9 de Julio" avenues and plazas to know that this was an important day. A lot of things were closed, so we wandered around Rosario, a pleasant enough town, but without a lot to keep a tourist particularly interested. We had our Spanish lesson, which was great. Rosario
is the place where Ernesto Che Guevara was born.
It is 35°C and after we
visited the city we went to the river to swim. This is the place
where locals people come to swim. It is not the best place to come
overall when a huge boat is crossing the river.

Great sundays in Rosario
Sundays are great to explore the city.
At around 10am, the city is still asleep and is so quiet! Here people party until early morning and they don't come out until lunch time!
On Sunday mornings, 2 of the main boulevards of the city are closed to the traffic and filed with rosarinos on their rollers, bicycle, etc... Taking a stroll along the boulevard Oroño and the main avenue along the river is a great way to spend a sunny Sunday morning!!!!
I'll post photos soon

Rode out along the river to see the sights of town, nice enough place but
being this Easter holiday thing full of tourists!! And not the
overseas types. I think this is where the locals come for holidays.
