... to see David in the kitchen preparing me a breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. I spent 45 minutes visiting with David and Marissa over breakfast and then departed for Arizona.
It was wonderful seeing the family here in New Mexico and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I can see why Steve and Alayne, David's folks, love to visit. What a wonderful family.

... to the East side of the Rio Grande River where we saw Alfa fields, onion fields, and pecan trees. We went to the Percha Creek Bridge. The creek beds were dry. We then went into town and saw The Geronimo Museum. We had a great time with Phil and Janice. Thank you both so much for your wonderful hospitality. Dave and Phil were in the Marine Corp. back in 1977. They haven't seen each other since 1977... Almost 40 ...

... I have this irrational fear that i will not have something I need (such as enough underwear) and that I will not have access to it when I get to Costa Rica. I know, this is completely ridiculous, especially since Costa Rica has a Wal Mart. Well, I still have a few days to get everything I need into my luggage, up to 50 pounds worth that is.
