... be lunch time so I made a bee line to Micky's Dining Car to try and beat the lunch crowd. Micky's had been featured on a few shows I watched about the GRR. It is a really small dining car in downtown St. Paul. Just enough room for four small booths and a row of stools at the bar. The cook was crazy good. He had everything down to a science. We then headed over to great river bluffs to start our first camping
experience of the trip. As we drove into the area we were in awe. We
were expecting a little camp group on the Mississippi River but this
place was something else. The panoramic views from the lookout points
were amazing and the campground was extremely remote. We were some of
the only people there but it was so nice. All you could hear were the

... definitely surreal. I hardly even recognized her when she walked up.

Being in these places that I spent periods of my life have been interesting to look back on and see how much I have grown as a person. I definitely have changed a lot over the last decade and although I do not know the path ahead of me, I know that the people and the places I have been have shaped me to be who I am and the way I look at life.

We visited with Amelia Baxter, the owner of Whole Tree Architecture and one of the staff architects. We were also lucky to spend some time with Derek who has worked for Whole Tree for many years building and creating unique whole tree pieces for homes out of Whole Trees forest. Amelia gave us a tour of the first houses Roald built and lived in and we discussed their approach to building.
