11th-12th July A long day of traveling yesterday, we crossed the whole of Wisconsin. We drove to Milwaukee first to the Miller brewery where we had a tour, it was more about the history of Miller and their production capacity, than about beer making. We then drove to Madison, the state capital for lunch, it was a nice city, not very big, but with lots of independent shops and cafes. ...

Great day on the lake

Fantastic time spend with family and their friends on the lake. Had a bit of trouble with an inflatable, swimming in the lake was brilliant. Saw an eagle and beautiful large dragonflies. Boys. Went tubing and sailing and fast trips in speed boat. Great fun was had by all! Ate dinner near the lake - pizza for everyone ...

... a peacock and take a look at the side stand in the pictures - incredible. She insists I have a photo on the back of the bike with her. Great thanks Diane. Everybody we speak to in America are so friendly.

At Prescott we are also reunited with the mississippi river which we follow all the way to La Crosse. There is a great railway swing bridge across the river at Prescott.
